On 20 January 2020, the Transport Research Centre, committed itself to the principles enshrined in the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers. On 6 September 2021, we received the HR Award, which the European Commission grants to research institutions that implement and continuously develop the HRS4R (Human Resources Strategy for Researchers) strategy.
Through a series of follow-up action plans, we are continuously implementing measures aimed at creating a high-quality, transparent and open working environment for researchers and other staff. We regularly assess the progress made, respond to the institution’s new needs and the requirements of the European Union, and develop our human resources policy in line with the HRS4R principles.
We are currently finalising the evaluation of the second action plan and preparing a new action plan, which will build on the measures implemented to date and set out further objectives for the development of personnel policy, working conditions, recruitment, professional development and support for research careers. Our aim is to continue to uphold the principles of the European Charter for Researchers and to contribute to the creation of an attractive working environment that meets European standards.
