Under the patronage of RNDr. Jitka Seitlová, Vice Chairwoman of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, an international conference titled “Alcohol Locks in the Fight Against Drunk Driving in the Czech Republic” will take place on June 30, 2026. The conference is organized by the Transport Research Center (CDV) and the European Transport Safety Council (ETSC).
The conference, organized as part of the Safe and Sober project, will focus on current issues related to driving under the influence of alcohol and the potential use of alcohol interlocks as an effective tool for improving road safety. Experts from CDV, the Ministry of Transport, the Czech Police, ETSC, and other European institutions will share their experiences from the Czech Republic and abroad. The program will also include a practical demonstration of how an alcohol interlock works.
