We are a public research institution established under Act No. 341/2005 Coll. and the only research organization under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Transport.
We conduct multidisciplinary research and development in transport in the natural and social sciences as well as in engineering and technology, with the aim of benefiting the citizens of the Czech Republic.
Our mission is to conduct research and development in the field of transport, provide professionally independent expert and service support, and be a source of knowledge transfer both in the Czech Republic and throughout Europe.
Our vision is to be a professionally independent institution of European significance, sought after for solving serious issues in transport and its infrastructure, with results that are recognized by both professionals and the wider public.
Its main task is to provide methodological guidance for therapeutic programs for drivers, train instructors, and monitor the quality of the programs provided.
