Accreditation of educational institutions and programs

The Transport Research Center, v. v. i., is an accredited educational institution and offers several educational programs.

We were accredited as an educational institution by the Ministry of the Interior in 2005. We currently provide continuing education to local government officials in accordance with the Civil Servants Act in eight programs, one of which is taught online.

  • Vehicle Weighing from the Perspective of Administrative Authorities

  • Planning pedestrian and bicycle transport in urban environments

  • Obligations of carriers and drivers in complying with provisions relating to driving time, safety breaks, and rest periods

  • Obligations relating to the transport of dangerous goods by road under the ADR agreement

On June 27, 2012, CDV was granted accreditation by the Ministry of Transport to provide accredited training for road safety auditors, under ref. no. 144/2012-120-ORG2/2, accreditation no.: 002.

In 2022, we also obtained accreditation from the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports to conduct educational programs accredited for the purposes of the Act on Pedagogical Workers. Two programs were accredited at the same time:

  • Teaching traffic education for kindergartens

  • Movement of organized groups of children in traffic environments

We have been organizing accredited courses for kindergarten teachers, teaching assistants, and leisure time educators since 2023.

We cooperate with experts in the Czech Republic and abroad

The Transport Research Center is significantly involved in international scientific and research cooperation and is a recognized member of many international institutions. It publishes the results of its research work in prestigious international journals and presents them at international conferences. This provides important feedback for further work and development.

We are also involved in multilateral cooperation with similar European research institutes and entities in the transport sector through our membership in international associations.
