Development of the Methodologies for Reporting and Projections of Greenhouse Gas Emissions and Removals Including Projections of Usual Pollutants

Project presentation

The MEMORESP project focused on research and development of methodologies used for the inventory, monitoring and reporting of greenhouse gas emissions and conventional air pollutants, as well as their projections. Its objective was to establish a comprehensive methodological basis for the contractual research activities of the project partners while addressing increasingly stringent international requirements for more accurate methodologies across individual sectors, gases and emission projections.

The project developed methodological procedures and software tools designed to simplify and improve the quantification, reporting and review of emissions.

The project was coordinated by the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute. Project partners included the Transport Research Centre, the Czech Environmental Information Agency, IFER – Institute of Forest Ecosystem Research Ltd., KONEKO marketing Ltd., the National Centre for Agricultural and Food Research, the Global Change Research Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences, and the Research Institute of Agricultural Engineering.
