The project focused on strengthening human resources management, technology transfer and science communication at the Transport Research Centre. Its objective was to improve the quality of HR management in line with the standards of a modern research organisation while creating an attractive working environment for both current and future employees. At the same time, the project enhanced knowledge and competencies in technology transfer and supported the practical application of research results.
As a result of the project, the Transport Research Centre received the prestigious European HR Award, recognising the quality of its human resources processes, recruitment strategy, staff development and commitment to gender equality. The project also delivered a Gender Equality Plan, introduced a mentoring programme for early-career researchers, strengthened research commercialisation activities and established new strategic partnerships with Czech and international organisations. In addition, it included training activities for employees and science outreach programmes for school and university students.
