The main objective of the project is to ensure the sustainability of transport by limiting its impact on landscape fragmentation and increasing transport safety by improving the passability of transport infrastructure for animals. Specifically, this involves (1) creating and implementing an assessment of the effectiveness of repellents and establishing principles for their use, based on testing selected types of repellents in practice, (2) creating and establishing a methodology for assessing the effectiveness and designing passages for fauna, (3) presenting information on ecoducts in the form of a specialized map and public database of ecoducts with an assessment of their effectiveness, (4) providing part of the basis for updating the TP 180 regulation, (5) presenting the results of the project in the form of seminars and professional articles.
This project, Determination and optimization of vegetation strips with natural tree species composition for traffic noise reduction, is co-financed with state support from the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic and the Ministry of Transport of the Czech Republic under the TRANSPORT 2030 Program. This project is financed under the National Recovery Plan from the European Recovery and Resilience Facility.
