RE-ROUTE

Project presentation

The Re-RoutE project focuses on enhancing the resilience of European transport infrastructure to extreme weather and climate events, which increasingly affect transport reliability and safety.

The project aims to develop innovative tools and approaches to better predict risks, assess the vulnerability of transport networks, and design effective adaptation measures. It also seeks to strengthen the preparedness of transport systems for disruptive events and reduce operational impacts.

A key aspect of the project is supporting decision-making through data-driven methods and integrating the results into infrastructure planning at both European and national levels.

The project brings together an international consortium of partners from research, infrastructure, and public administration sectors working jointly to improve the resilience of transport networks in the context of climate change.
