The aim of the project is to verify the usability of waste slag from the operation of ZEVO (waste-to-energy plant) in the construction industry for the construction, reconstruction, or repair of roads in order to reduce the need for primary raw materials. For the successful implementation of the project, it is necessary to define the properties of this waste material as a secondary raw material and the requirements for its material use in unbound or bound structural layers. In addition to monitoring the quality parameters of slag and the proposed building material containing it (such as stability and volume stability), it will be essential to demonstrate the passivation of the monitored pollutants in terms of reducing their leachability and other environmental characteristics.
This project, Determination and optimization of vegetation strips of natural tree species composition serving to reduce traffic noise, is co-financed with state support from the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic and the Ministry of Transport of the Czech Republic under the TRANSPORT 2030 Program. This project is financed under the National Recovery Plan from the European Recovery and Resilience Facility.
