How can combined transport be used in practice? Free autumn webinars will present available options, practical experience, current routes and services.
What opportunities does combined transport offer and under what conditions can it become a suitable part of freight transport in practice? Two free online webinars this autumn will provide practical insights into the current possibilities of combined transport.
Combining different modes of transport can offer new options for organising freight transport. To make effective use of these solutions, however, it is important to understand the available options, transport units and terminals, current routes and the related financial aspects.
The webinars will therefore focus not only on the principles of combined transport, but also on practical examples of its use. Participants will learn about current routes and timetables, the role of combined transport operators and opportunities for cooperation with road hauliers.
The programme will also introduce the kombinovanapreprava.cz web portal and tools that can support decisions about suitable transport solutions, including a calculator of the energy and emission intensity of combined and road transport.
