The project focuses on internationally competitive research in the field of low-emission mobility technologies. The project will support the sustainability of the Czech automotive industry, increase long-term competitiveness, and increase the added value generated in the Czech Republic. The aim of the project is: 1. To establish, implement, and deepen cooperation within the partnership between Brno University of Technology and the application sphere representing key companies in the automotive industry. The development of the institutional background at Brno University of Technology will be strengthened, as will long-term relationships with the application sphere, with an impact on knowledge transfer. 2. To carry out targeted research in cooperation with entities in the application sphere. Targeted research is defined by research projects that have the potential to stand up to comparison with comparable high-quality international research in the field and that have clear potential for future use in the application sphere. Research projects focus on: a) Power unit subsystems for low-emission mobility. b) Renewable energy sources and energy storage for clean mobility. c) Intelligent design of electric vehicles using deep learning and virtual environments. d) Particles emitted by transport and their dispersion. e) Intelligent autonomous transport systems. 3. Preparation of project applications together with entities from the application sphere for national and international grant schemes in close connection with the activities and focus of the project. 4. Involvement of experienced representatives of the application sphere in teaching, including the supervision of student work.
