The aim of the project is to develop and verify in a real environment a technology for automated detection of road defects and other objects on land communications (LC). The system will use components developed by VisionCraft for object detection using computer vision methods. The system will consist of units placed in vehicles that will detect road defects in real time and compare the occurrence of traffic signs and other road equipment with the map database of CEDA Maps. Detected deviations will be validated and further processed, e.g., in the form of traffic information or a map of defects. The units will be designed so that their use in a fleet of vehicles is technically and economically feasible, with the aim of evaluating dynamic changes in road defects over time.
This project, Determination and optimization of vegetation strips with natural tree species composition for traffic noise reduction, is co-financed with state support from the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic and the Ministry of Transport of the Czech Republic under the TRANSPORT 2030 Program. This project is financed under the National Recovery Plan from the European Recovery and Resilience Facility.
