Transport psychology, therapy and counselling in traffic

Our field primarily brings together experts from the fields of psychology and sociology.

We focus on a wide range of topics in the field of human factors in transport. We carry out research projects both within the Transport Research Center and as part of broader research consortia, often with an international dimension.

The outputs of our research activities serve as a basis for strategic planning and decision-making at the level of higher territorial administrative units (the state and state authorities or regions), and are used by organizations and companies (such as the Railway Administration, Czech Railways, Brno Public Transport Authority, etc.) or professional associations (e.g., Association of Transport Psychologists, Chamber of Transport Psychologists, Association of General Practitioners, etc.).
