This page provides an overview of the organizational structure of the Transport Research Center, v. v. i., including its division into individual departments, specialist units, and management. It also includes information about the institution's bodies, in particular the Institution Council and Supervisory Board, which are involved in the strategic management, control, and long-term direction of the CDV.
The bodies of a public research institution pursuant to Act No. 341/2005 Coll., on public research institutions, are the director, the institutional council, and the supervisory board. The powers and authority of the director, the institution's board, and the supervisory board are set out in the Act on Public Research Institutions, the founding charter, and internal regulations. expresses its opinion on proposals for the merger, fusion or division of the institution,
submits proposals and statements to the founder on the appointment and dismissal of the director.
TheInstitutional Council also participates in the selection of the director by proposing some of the members of the selection committee. It consists of a chairman, vice-chairman and other members. The method of their appointment or election, the length of the term of office and the details of the council's activities are regulated by the charter and internal regulations of the institution. The position of a member of the Institutional Council is incompatible with the position of director or member of the supervisory board of the same institution.
